Pastor Johnathan A. Kenney was born in Clearwater, Florida to the late Deacon Cleveland and Sis. Judy Kay Kenney. In 2004 he moved to Fairbanks, AK where God began to develop his love and sense of compassion for people. In 2007, he answered his call into the preaching ministry and has made that his main focus to connect people to their purpose.
In 2016 of November, God granted both Pastor Johnathan and his wife the ability to launch a ministry in Fairbanks, Alaska called, The Hope Church. Within the 5 years of ministry, they have witnessed God’s miracles, signs, and wonders.
Under the leadership of Pastor Kenney, The Hope Church has acquired 2 locations, Fairbanks, Alaska and Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Fairbanks locations has two locations one housing the main worship campus and Hope House, a facility that houses community youth center, community garden and food bank.
Pastor Kenney has been awarded acknowledgments from the United States Army, Governor's Office, the City Mayor, Chief of Police and other organizations. He was also pronounced Fairbank's Men of Distinction in 2013. He is a member and serves as Dean of the Inter-denominational Ministerial Alliance Fairbanks (IMAF), President of the MLK Scholarship Committee.
He is married to Prophetess Monie' Kenney and together they have 3 beautiful girls, Maylin, Deklynn and Symone’. The Kenney's both share a contagious passion and love for Christ and His people. They strive to enlarge the Kingdom by engaging, edifying, and enriching the lives of others by any means necessary.
Her ministry reaches beyond her residence of Fairbanks, Alaska with great influence within the western region. Prophetess Monie’ has been a licensed elder and prophet since 2016 but has been leading all of her life. Being the oldest has prepared her for the work of maturing the saints and bringing out the very best in those she meets.
Monie’ has written two books entitled, “Character Check” and “Millennial Altar Call: The discipleship book.” She has a passion to release information through any outlet available. This is what makes her ministry innovative, relevant, and appealing to all generations.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS EQUAL WITH THE FATHER AND THE SON AS GOD. HE IS PRESENT IN THE WORLD TO MAKE MEN AWARE OF THEIR NEED FOR JESUS CHRIST. HE ALSO LIVES IN EVERY CHRISTIAN FROM THE MOMENT OF SALVATION. HE PROVIDES THE CHRISTIAN WITH POWER FOR LIVING, UNDERSTANDING OF SPIRITUAL TRUTH, AND GUIDANCE IN DOING WHAT IS RIGHT. THE CHRISTIAN SEEKS TO LIVE UNDER HIS CONTROL DAILY. WE BELIEVE THAT THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AN ENDOWMENT OF POWER AVAILABLE TO EVERY BELIEVER SUBSEQUENT TO CONVERSION.
